Also known as “the fried chicken king of the south suburbs.” was founded in 1950 by Harold Pierce also known as Piercy. The first restaurant was located in Chicago on 39th with his wife, Hilda. The name was originally H&H. Over the years as business continued to grow, Harold decided to franchise out. Harold’s has been a staple fried chicken restaurant in Illinois for over 50 years. There are now over 40 stores and still growing!
